We're excited to see everyone's drawings! Artists can work with any materials they want, but all drawings must be entered using the entry form. Parents can submit the entry form online as a scanned PDF, or .png or .jpg. The contest is open for entries until April 19, 2021 11:59PM Eastern Time (ET), so here's some information to help you get started:
Download & print the entry form.
Start Drawing: Artists create their drawings using any materials they want. From crayons, colored pencils, markers to digital art using tools like Photoshop or Illustrator – just keep it within the red lines. Original artwork only.
Write: Fill out the rest of the required information and have a parent or guardian sign the entry form.
Scan or take a photo: Scan the finished design for best results. If you don't have one, no problem. Free scanner apps are available for most smartphones. If you choose to take a photo, use a well-lit area and avoid shadows. Double check your photo to make sure the colours are crisp and clear.
Submit: Submit using our submission form to enter the contest.
Judging Criteria
Entries will be judged based on the following equally weighed criteria: originality, creativity, and artistic skill.
Winners will be contacted by April 30, 2021.
Disqualifications
Drawings that are not original works, contain logos, or copyright imagery will be disqualified.
Only one application per artist. Only the first submission for each artist will be considered, and any additional submissions will be disqualified.
